About the Role:

As a Home Trainer, you will provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance on best practices while leading the induction process for our new team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote continuous learning and development within the care home.
  • Deliver engaging induction and training sessions for new team members.
  • Support ongoing professional development of the home's staff.
  • Ensure all training activities align with Porthavens high standards and CQC guidelines.
  • Foster a positive, competent team equipped to provide excellent care.

About You:

We're looking for someone who is confident at delivering constructive feedback to help others grow. You will have worked in a care home environment and be excited about creating positive change in our staff and residents lives.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in health and social care, ideally with a background in training and development.
  • 2 years minimum experience working as a senior care or care team leader, delivering person centred care
  • NVQ level 3 in health and social care (or equivalent)
  • Ability to facilitate training sessions and provide ongoing coaching and support.
  • Strong administrative skills and proficiency with IT.
  • Excellent communication and feedback skills.
  • Comfortable working in a team-focused environment.
