Located opposite the popular Burford Garden Company, Cotswold Gate Care Home is situated just a five minute drive from Burford's famous high street. Burford and its surrounding areas include notable locations such as Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold.

As a Home Trainer, you will be responsible for promoting a learning culture in our care home through mentoring, coaching and professional best practice, whilst also delivering a comprehensive induction for our new starters. You will ensure through the planning and delivery of learning and development activities that all home team members have the necessary skills, and are competent, to deliver the highest standards of care to our residents.

You will co-ordinate the training activities in our home in order to meet Porthaven's goal of achieving ‘Outstanding' in CQC inspections.

About you:

Ideally you will have a health and social care background and a proven track record as a trainer with a genuine interest in, and experience of facilitating training and staff development. You will have the ability to adapt to meet the needs of our home, staff team or our residents. You are comfortable completing administrative tasks and have great IT skills. You should also be confident providing positive and constructive feedback to achieve behavioural change. Previous experience in the delivery of induction and onboarding training content is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be subject to the provision of satisfactory references and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and they must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
