Clinical Nurse Training Manager - National. 

This is a national role that requires travel to all of the portfolio of Porthaven's Care Homes.

A competitive Salary and 10% Car Allowance is available for this position.

About the role:
As part of our ongoing dedication to staff development, we are looking for a Clinical Nurse Training Manager to join our Learning & Development team. This is a national role that will allow you to make a significant impact on the clinical development of our teams across the country.
As the Clinical Nurse Training Manager, you will be responsible for developing, planning, delivering, and reviewing high-quality clinical and statutory/mandatory training programs. You will also act as a subject matter expert to our Home Managers, providing expert advice and support whilst ensuring all training meets the needs of our residents and staff.

Key Duties:

  • Designing and delivering clinical nurse training programs to enhance the skills of our nursing teams.
  • Supporting the delivery of statutory, mandatory, and advanced clinical training across the organization.
  • Collaborating with our Group Head of Learning & Development to contribute to the overall Learning & Development strategy.
  • Assisting newly qualified and international nurses, including providing support for OSCE preparation.
  • Leading and mentoring Home Trainers to deliver effective training programs.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous learning and development across all levels of the organization.
  • Ensuring all training is compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements, while maintaining accurate training reports and administrative duties.

About you:

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and an up-to-date Nurse PIN.
  • Proven experience in clinical training and development within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory, mandatory, and clinical training requirements.
  • Ability to lead and develop training programs to meet organizational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • A passion for learning and a drive to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • An Adult training qualification is desirable but not essential as you will be supported to gain this qualification.
